Mid-Year Portfolio Review
It’s officially July and that means it’s time for the mid-year portfolio review. This has been a wild year across markets and geopolitics, and we are still strongly outperforming. Long-time followers and subscribers know that when it comes to individual stocks my portfolio usually consists of just 5-10 names. While I do also give out some smaller trades and options plays, the bulk of my portfolio is in just a handful of these "core positions". A small list of equities that I monitor closely and believe have asymmetric upside. My goal is to keep it simple and outperform the S&P500 index fund sitting in my retirement accounts, which I’ve had a good record of doing.
In this review I will:
Recap my 1H 2026 portfolio performance
Each individual position’s YTD performance
List the stocks I am keeping as we begin Q3
Discuss where I’m looking for my next big trade
Let’s dive in…
YTD Performance (as of 6/30):
🔵 Geiger Capital Portfolio: +52%
🟠 S&P 500: +9%
